Time Management

Time management is very important to keep everything in under control in your life. "DO IT NOW", don't let things get overloaded and try to finish everything in short period of time. That is not going to workout for many people. You feel stressed and frustrated at the end.

For university students, time management is very very important in order to finish courses successfully. Here is a new time management strategy that I wanted to include in this post.

This is one of the strategy that I used when I was in university. As a science major at McMaster University, Canada, I was trying to get good grades while participating in other extracurricular activities such as volunteering, Scouts and various Clubs and Association. For every courses, I went to lectures. I never skipped one class. I go classes, take notes, ask questions, explain complicated problems to my peers, and make sure that I understood everything on that lecture. Use your class time wisely; don't sleep in class; don't talk to your peers while the prof. lectures; or don't day dream.

When you come home, you obviously remember things that you learnt in class and it is fresh in your mind. So recall things that you have learnt without opening your notes. Just recall it, anything that you remember. It can be either topics or specific examples or questions or a joke that the prof. said in class. After that, open your notes and go through thing that you couldn't recall, and try to understand the topic. You can do this in 15-30 minutes, if the class is an hour long. Do this for your every courses.

Even if you have many assignments and tests in that week, follow this strategy and it is not going to take a longtime. Few minutes reviewing saves 2 days of all-nighters for each course. "Do It Now", Don't delay. If you follow this method for one of your whole semester, you will see the difference.

Good luck.
